2015年4月23日，美国发布G/SPS/N/USA/2754通报，修订色素使用条例，拟允许云母钛珠光颜料作为食品添加剂用于蒸馏酒类。

按照最新规定，当云母钛珠光颜料用于酒精含量在18%至25%（以体积计）之间的蒸馏酒时，最大添加量应不超过0.07%（以重量计），对于含有超过5%葡萄酒的蒸馏酒混合物则解除目前的限制。
